Getting a Lakecrew PWD Puppy
A brief summary of our puppy placement process:
- We encourage you to contact us to ask any questions you may have about Lakecrew PWDs.
- If you are seriously interested in acquiring one of our puppies, you will need to submit a puppy application via our questionnaire. Filling it out does not obligate you to purchase a puppy from us. We will get in touch with you regarding your application.
- If one of our puppies would be a good fit for you and your family, we will either 1) place your name on our waiting list for a planned litter or 2) ask for a deposit to hold a puppy from an expected/current litter.
- The puppies will be temperament tested and evaluated for pet/show potential at around 7 weeks of age.
- Our pet puppies are sold on an AKC Limited Registration and spay/neuter contract (never to be bred).
- Our show potential puppies are sold on a co-owner contract (showing and breeding terms specified).
- Puppies will be matched to their prospective families based first upon temperament & personality, and also sex if that is a match requirement. Secondary considerations of coat type and color will then be matched if possible, in order of deposit receipt.

- The puppies will be ready for their new homes at 8-9 weeks of age.
